I see that Mobility.mobi is a full 5/5 .mobi compliant site. That's great of course but since I am accessing this site from my home computer I see the pages of this site display as any normal .Com site would. Now I've seen many .mobi sites on my home computer and all of them have a different look, you know that small page thats normally a third of the size of your normal computer screen and displayed on the left hand side of your screen. Like the Sedo compliant .mobi parking pages for instance. So my question is how does this .Mobi forum display like a regular .com site and still have a 5/5 compliance factor? Does this mean that .mobi compliant sites can display like a .com site on a PC? And is a special design needed to render it like this? And what does it look like on a mobile phone?
Thnx
Fred

Andres set up device detection and is forwarding mobile users to a mobile friendly site skin and PC users to the "regular" site skin. I think he's posted the technique in a thread, I'll look for it and edit here when I find it.

Yup, found it! http://mobility.mobi/showthread.php?t=22

Eventually, many .mobi sites will redirect you according what device you are using.
www.my-tube.mobi also does it.

Very cool. I was wondering why a .mobi site looked normal in my browser. Now I know.

mtld.mobi also uses this technique.
