Hey all, I think its time I get serrious about poop (http://poop.mobi), its getting about 130 vistors a day and around 1400 unqiques a month. Basicly it keeps gaining momentum every week and the bandwith is about 300mbs a month.
My target audience is basicly everyone and it will maintian a clean approach to the site unlike johny. No adult content at all, I want to make it somewhat family oriented.
So Im looking for ideas to add to the site.
For example dissussion boards, a more detailed celebrity section, maybe some simple games....stuff like that. ANd maybe making some affiliate links on there like ringtones, wall paper ect...I just want to make it a 1 stop site for most of peoples needs. I am even changing the advertising with it. It's no big winner on admob, it has about 60 clicks this month and made $1.50 (and half the time no impressions). I can make more by charging somone from here for a banner lol. I may switch it or make custom ads and charge people soon.
I guess my idea is to make Poop like a DisneyLand for people. I think people are getting board with it now, the chatroom has been inactive for over 2 days and before it was active alot.
The next step is how should I spread it more. My only means so far is advertising from my $10 total earnings a week and it is showcased. I know people will like it and come back for more poop, I think I just need to make some changes and do some kind of big campaign, like sending letters and emailsout to newspapers, twitter ect...
I know it will be a big hit, when I talk to people ***line and say that I own it, they just laugh...."it is fun to say." So I want to take a big step (but not in it) to make this a real winner and a top site.
