Novels.mobi (http://Novels.mobi) goes live today. There are 20,000 public domain novels specially formatted for cellphone reading. If you become a registered user, the last page read will be bookmarked automatically. Enjoy.

Nice !!
Only thing you should have implemented is paging (IMHO) ...the pages are way to long..
Just a thought...
and does amazon detect it's a mobile ?

Thanks for the comment. That is exactly what I need to find, how many lines per page are the best for mobile phone reading. I really need feedback from readers on this so I can optimize the page for mobile reading.

Paul is right. This is my project. It took me 2 months to make the first release. It is very primitive now. I am working on the second release as we speak.I have pledged to create two .mobi sites by the end of this year. This is the first one.

Consider making this a publishing platform for original works. If Japan's mobile market is any indicator of the future then the $90 million in mobile books sales in Japan is a great forecast for this business model.

Really nice site. Please post additional developed (non adult) .mobi sites. I already listed this one in my mobile directory.
Thanks,
