Davids,
Very glad to have you.
Indonesia is a very huge mobile market and .mobi market.
Would love to hear first hand accounts of the .mobi adoption in use.
Also, banking is being swept up by .mobi sites as more and more banks discover the convenience of mobile sites (mobi) and how it impacts their customers,
Thanks for joining!

photoman, coast, gerry - thank you for the warm welcome.
Indonesia is indeed a huge mobile market, hence my arrival here in this forum. I was actually wondering if I could find someone here to write blog posts on mobile industry in general with specific focus on Indonesia.
I've tried myself blogging on other sites that I have - but the demand of my day job doesn't allow me to spend much time on quality posts. So, I was thinking of outsourcing it to interested forumers here so I can focus my time more on the networking and strategy for the blog - and leave the little time that I have left for my family :)
Any chance there would be interested takers here? ;)
I've hired a local web designer and webmaster for one year to put up a nice blog (should be done by end Jan) and the maintenance part.
.mobi is kinda new to me - but I'll surely be giving it more attention going forward. When I'm more informed; will surely share it with you guys.

A suggestion to meet your needs in the long run...
start with a proper introduction of .mobi to your audience.
There are many sources, resources, developers, programmers, and even writers on this site.
Good places to start and links to include would be:
Mobility.mobi
and
Mobienthusiast.mobi.
There is a ton of information here to be absorbed.
Javier Marti has published a book on the mobile network history and .mobi
Andres Kellos, the creator of Mobility, has a sub forum on the major companies (globally) that are using .mobi to reach their customer. Granted, these are major companies known to mostly the US and European audience which happens to be the primary membership demographics. Additionally, Andres has started the Why.mobi (http://why.mobi) campaign to bring greater awareness to the global market.
Coast is the creator of MobiEnthusiat.mobi and often blogs about new sites, new technologies, etc. She is literally enthusiastic about .mobi - as is every one here.
At mobility.mobi, you will see any topic and all topics come up. Sometimes there are heated discussions as to what is and what is not the way to do things or market, etc. The bottom line is there is a great deal of knowledge, know how, and abilities on mobility.mobi.
Indeed, your input and knowledge of the Asian and Indonesian markets, technology, and trends of these areas would be a huge plus for mobility.mobi. It is a sector that we lack input on but I, for one, would welcome it.
That is why I say start with an introduction to your audience of what is .mobi, why use mobi, and who is using .mobi.
Mobility.mobi
why.mobi
MobiEnthusiast.mobi
Again, welcome.

Easy bro, I feel the pressure :)
I'm new to .mobi and new to domain world for that matter - but am reading, lurking around, observing ... but remember I still have my day-time job - won't come back home till 8pm. Will surely contribute something when the time comes - no propaganda.
