I think someone else posted about this book previously but I just ordered it yesterday and after a bit of reading I think it is a valuable tool for anyone venturing into mobile web design.

Cameron was also featured on a web design podcast at http://boagworld.com/ #96. Cameron's part kicks in around 40 minutes into the cast. (Discovered by member dentalpro BTW)

Also be sure to look at the mobile web developers guide at dev.mobi for additional information on mobile web design. http://dev.mobi/book

Sorry, no pirating. Not that bootlegging is ever justified but Cameron Moll has certainly earned his keep with this book. Nice mix of big picture info, coding discussion and practical advice.

Yeah im sure it was me, I also posted yesterday a blog link from the book, regarding how huge the mobile industry is and how its growing way way faster than the PC and landline connections.....all great news for us. You can get a copy of the book on pdf file missing a number of sections to get an idea of what its like and about. I agree with you scandi, it seems really worthwhile. Also another valuable link you all may know of (or not) is www.mobisitegalore.com (http://www.mobisitegalore.com) where u can easily build your .mobi site with their simple to use templates and so on.

Look what this new member is sporting...Arsenal!!! Rock on.

Have quite a collection of Euro soccer jerseys. I guess I could go to every country and team's home field and fit in. Kind of obsessed that way. Just got the new Fly Emirates team jersey.

Oh well, I digress.

Does the book discuss templates at all?

Strange, the site doesn't autodetect on the emulator... but it looks great! Reasonable price, too.

Time to get serious about developing - I just bought my copy.

They say it takes 7 impressions on a person before they will buy something - thank you for posting this and for those of you who replied to bring it back new posts - I think this view makes 7 for me.
