Hello all.
Whats the best tool out there to see what people are typing in search engines? is the subscription to wordtracker worth it?
Thanks,

Hi supermobi. Welcome to mobility!!! Wordtracker is a great tool, and certainly worth the money. I myself have never paid for the subscription and use only the free one word lookup that's available. At least last time I used it, it was free for looking up one keyword.

Other tools available that you might already be aware of are overture - very slow and for some reason doesn't always work. It also doesn't do plurar's meaning words with an (s). You can find it here:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
or
http://inventory.us.keywo.com/
for different languages and it will show you the Max Bids and listing for that term.

Another good tool is the google suggestion tool. It shows you how many sites are using that keyword. You can find that one at:
http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en

I hope this helps and I'm sure others here will have some good opinions and suggestions on other tools.

apparently http://inventory.us.keywo.com/ only brings searches made on january 07. Is there a way to make it look for more recent ones or am I asking too much of a free tool? :)

Yeah, with every free tool, there's only so much you get. That use to only bring back the previous month. So it should be displaying September, it might not be working that great.
