Both devices have web browsers that display full HTML. And since around 95% of all mobile searches are conducted on the iPhone (according to today's Mobile Search panel at SES Chicago), today's announcement opens up a brand new opportunity for you.

and more BS from there....they shouldn't be telling people how to do business when they have no clue.

SES Searchenginewatch and the Clickz network are the same company. I wonder if they are owned by Apple or have shares in Apple - this is their same old BS.

If you want to spend $5 on Godady TDNAM you can register yojo.mobi - the cretins at yojomobile.com who BS for SES do not have a trademark on yojo.

I have posted a reply to that article on that site giving a list of big corps who have .mobi's such as Coke, Bofa, HipHop, Weather, BMW, RollsRoyce and a few more and I suggested they contact those companies and businesses to tell them not to develop .mobi sites.. When I hit the post button a message came up saying my posting would first be reviewed by the site owner before it might get placed.
I will check back later to see if it got placed.

ps. I sent the writer a message on her own blog as well inviting her to visit such sites as HipHop.mobi on her iPhone.
Also gave her the following link and asked her to visit it:

So, doing a mobi is like ... oh yeah, like doing a .com for PC and ALL mobile devices.

Like SDCA.mobi.

Instead, I should do m.scda.mobi (m for moron).

I get it.

Seriously, how many damn gTLD's are nothing but parked pages?

And who wants to look at parked pages on a pc let alone a mobile device?

That is why it is so important to develop.

I could care less at this point who uses an m or nothing at all for auto detect. If I have good words and those become developed sites with relevant content that is where I want to be.

iCPR.mobi is garnering attention for it's ease of use and life saving capability.

And I can easily take every .com, .net, .info and format as a .mobi and serve the purpose of being usable across the platforms.

Who pays these people?

Gerry, too funny. m. for morons. Love it!

Yes, this is the same .mobi is dead crew parroting their BS without any proof or facts. I told a prominent SEO friend of mine about it, she told her (extensive) list to ignore them.

Well they are ignoring my post on searchenginewatch and they are not posting it. Since I tried to post there 2 other peoples posts have been posted.

I did get a reply from the author of the article on Searchenginewatch Nathania Johnson because i sent her an email direct to her own blog. Here is my email to her and the reply she gave me:

Hi Fred - I was relaying what a panel at SES Chicago said. Feel free to leave your thoughts on the comments at the SearchEngineWatch.com blog.

Nathania

Hallo Nathania<br />
I read your article about .mobi on search engine watch and I must say I find it
uninformed of you to advice people not to have .mobi sites. Maybe you should
tell some big corporations and businesses such as Cocacola, BMW, RollRoyce,
Bofa, Zagat, HipHop and (I can go on and on with this list of live .mobi
sites)to not develop .mobi sites.<br />
Try this super site yourself and it works like a charm.<br />
Please do visit it, either from your PC or from your mobile phone. It works
just as well on both and it loads super fast on your iPhone.<br />
http://hiphop.mobi (http://hiphop.mobi/)<br />
Regards<br />

I have sent her the following reply in response to her email to me:

Hallo again Nathania,
Well you didn't say that in the article on searchenginewatch. You made it appear as if that was your own opinion and not just you relaying what a panel at SES Chicago said. I take it you endorse what they say otherwise you would not have posted that article.
Also I did post a reply to your article on Searchenginewatch.com but for some reason they are not posting it. They did post 2 other postings from 2 other persons since then though.
Please visit us at http://mobility.mobi and see for yourself what a crowd of dedicated .mobi domainers is up to. Also please visit the following site and see for yourself how nice .mobi sites are. http://why.mobi/brands.php
I dont understand why the dislike for .mobi sites as .mobi promotes all mobile sites including .com and m. and .mobile
And if you like music have a look at http://hiphop.mobi (http://hiphop.mobi/) which has been developed by one of our members at http://mobility.mobi

Sincere regards
Fred
