I am surprised that Korea, being the most mobile country, and China, having the most people, are not subcategories in the international department.
Why and I am neither Korean or Chinese? (cough, cough) I own several Korean city names as mobis. Merrill Clark

I like the idea merrill. Thanks for suggesting it. :) Would you recommend an Asian section in general or one for each major country like Korea, China and Japan?

Lets have one asian sections, sub sections in Asia might not be too wide enough to solicit individual sections each.

I like the idea merrill. Thanks for suggesting it. :) Would you recommend an Asian section in general or one for each major country like Korea, China and Japan? The word "asian" and "oriental" are offensive to the different nationalities. The reason I bring this up is there was quite a discussion a while ago on DNF from members of these very countries who were quite offended by the .asia extension.
They do not like being categorized as Asian and found this to be a form of discrimination and stereotyping by the rich fat cat, cigar smoking white men at ICANN for a money grab (sound familiar?).
National pride runs deep for each of these nationalities. And as many pointed out, no one refers to themselves as Asian.
Just food for thought.

Here, Here! I second the motion. Great idea yelo!
Asian is too broad of a term, this raises important questions about mobility's setup..
IMO the sum of the international section by exclusive language covers alot of space on the front page of the mobile device, even more space than important other key sections which there are more often postings.. perhaps subforums would be considered for an international section with additional regional/language add-ons through a double click experience access from the main front page..
..which would leave more room in the future to add any more important .mobi categories we might see fit on the all-important homepage impression..
Just food for thought only, thanks!
Kind Regards,
Yelo
