Just wanted to say "Hello". Been a member of this forum for awhile, but haven't had much time to visit, contribute, etc... but hoping I'll have more time during the upcoming winter season.
Some of you may know me from other boards because I've purchased quite a few domains from members that have since left other boards for this one. I hope to interact with everyone and reconnect with many of you.
I become very tired of visiting other boards for my .mobi networking needs...
I own many .mobi domains and I've tried to promote .mobi in all my related business deals online & offline and have met various degrees of interest/awareness. I believe that .mobi has its place, it serves a purpose, but whether or not other companies promote .mobi makes very little difference to me and does not influence my own development path. With or without mass adoption, I feel comfortable using .mobi for some of my existing sites, and I have large-scale plans to use .mobi for many pure play sites that do not have a .com counterpart. I will be aggressively promoting my mobile sites to my own traffic-base and build awareness & adoption that way. I'm not relying on other domainers/companies to validate my development/investment in .mobi & I am not waiting for success to find me.
I'm looking forward to networking with other mobile developers/domainers. I consider myself a developer and I hope there are plenty of opportunities on this board to collaborate with like-minded people.
Good luck to all...
