I couldn't agree more. Now you know why my Dubai, UAE, and arabic holdings are so large. Not just in the .mobi.

There is incredible wealth over there in that region of the world. And they are spending it. I have yet to sell any .mobi's. Partly because I don't want to. But I did turn down an offer of $900.00 on a Dubai related domain.

You did WHAT ???:hmmmm2:

MartinIt was a major Dubai project. No way was I going to let that one go so cheap.

Traffic on my Dubai related and arabic words in general has been increasing. And with the launch of Onkosh.com and Onkosh.mobi, I imagine it will only get better. This is not just .mobi but other extensions as well are all showing small but increases nevertheless.

Plus, I am not too much in a selling mood. Offers mean nothing to me. So far for 2007, not one domain on Afternic sold has been paid, only about 20% of those sold on Sedo has been paid, and I have spent countless hours and days negotiating privately with buyers on domains only to reach an agreement and they never pay. So screw em.

I get offers daily. One offer came in a $7.00 because he said it was only worth reg fee. Another came in at $200.00 and when I turned it down, they came back with $202.00. Spent two days going back and forth with someone on a domain name and when we finally agreed on a price, he said he needed to check with his wife first. WTF??? :hmmmm2:

And a German company contacted me about a domain that I priced on sedo at 500 euro. They wanted to know what I would take for it. I told them 500 euro. They came back with 200USD. I told them I knew the exchange rate sucked but not that bad and they needed to buy a new calculator.

Ah...I made a mistake. In dutch you write a number like this: 1.000.000,00

I did read (by accident) that you rejeced an offer of: 900.000 (ninehundredthousand) haha...:embarassed:
