One Search - mobile websites appear in 'web' results

Has anyone else had the problem with One Search of their mobile websites appearing in 'web' results rather than 'mobile web' results where they belong?
If so, do you know what action can be taken to correct this apart from submitting the sites as mobile sites?

I actually haven't checked onesearch lately. After I saw this post, I tried it out on some of my sites. I did find a couple listed for the "web results", but they were also listed in the mobile results. I'm not too sure how they rate their mobi compliant sites, but from what I can tell, they've got quite a ways to go. Results that I pulled up were so strange. "pizza search", for example pulled results for;

Now I don't know about you, but this seemed a little strange to me. Seems like there are more news stories about pizza places than relevant sites.

I get much better placement from GOOGLE than Yahoo. Completely different matrix, I'm sure, but I just don't "get" onesearch. :hmmmm2: Hope it gets better!

Yes, I think One Search needs some work. when you say you getter better placement with Google - do you mean when you select to view only mobile results, or when you view all results?

Well...things have changed today. Maybe someone is listening.....

in all PC results, "pizza search" brings up pizzaz.mobi first page, # 6 for non-paid results (Google) (47,800,000 results)

Since I don't have web enabled cell phone service, I can't check google mobile search.

Yahoo:
Same search = not in top 100 results (that's 10 pages)

Yahoo One Search
#1, page 1 of mobile web (36,052 results)...was not like this a few days ago! :biggrin:

Search "Pizza" (254,412 results) and pizzaz.mobi comes up #58....not too awfully bad for such a prestigious mobile search term :smile:
