Nice site and great find! That kind of stuff (products that offer convienience via .mobi) will do very well for themselves IMO. May be profitable even right now -- markup would be pretty high on a €395.00 (I scrolled through a few pages, who knows, maybe some of them are even more!) bottle I'd imagine!
That's a really nice looking MOBI site. This concept could really work in the States too, if you can deal with all the varying laws about shipping alcohol. Who's got wine related MOBIs?

I wanted to get some, although I was either beat to them or they were reserved. Wines really are proving to be an excellent health beverage and would have went well with my site :(
IMO, some of the first non-explicitly mobile sites we may see offer large scale .mobi advertising or product offerings, are companies like this one -- high end retailers of products which bare premium pricing. Markups on wine are high enough that they really wouldn't have to sell many bottles to justify purchasing a quality name or getting their site professionally developed. Kind of reminds me of Mr. Schwartz's private jet argument... Doesn't take many private jet sales to justify developing privatejet.mobi ;)

Nice looking site. Being mono-linguistic, I can't figure out how payments for the product are being made. Can anyone explain?

Betaling contant of met uw pinpas bij levering aan de bezorger van Wijn-Alarm.
That means payments in cash or by ATM card to the deliverer at the point of delivery. They even throw in a nice fat cigar I see.

i have vinho.mobi, which i believe is portugese for wine. bricio, can you confirm that my translation is correct? is that the common term for it down there in rio? thanks!

RJ you are right that the US states are still sorting out their laws about shipping alcohol, wine, etc. across state lines. I think it was just last year that a very populous state like NY or CA passed a law permitting wine sales via shipping.
WhiteWine, Vermouth, and Cognac are my direct "fruit of the vine" mobis and I also have Wineries and Vineyards which might be fun to develop. Someone with a real love of wine and travel could accumulate a cask full of business travel receipts gathering on-site content while developing those two names.

very nice !!
i have winedirectory, winebuys, winemap(s) , wineaustralia/australiawine among others
wine was what got me interested in mobi in the first place, i remember reading about a dedicated pocket wine computer that tracked vintages and i thought that it would be a perfect fit for mobile information

Very nice site.
I Have BYOBlist BYOBguide. (BYOB is getting very big now and days and basicly it stands for Bring Your Own Bottle) which is techicily related to wine. Its very big here in Philadelphia, most restaruants have it.
The site will include the restarunts in the Philadelphia/NY/NJ area initialy (I already have a list of 800 locations in a word file, but cant figure out how to put it in a database yet)
And I want to have a nice wine section describing different types of common wine (and where to buy it) so people can find what kind of wine would go with there dinner. (after the site is done I will put your guys and gals wine links on there).

Great find! That's pretty cool getting deliveries. That's what I pictured the mobile internet for, ordering from your device and getting delivered. Hopefully .mobi will create a craze
Love seeing those wine sites pop up! I've got:
WineBottles.mobi
WineOnline.mobi
WineSeller.mobi
VinBordeaux.mobi
IlVino.mobi
VinoBianco.mobi
VinoRosso.mobi
