New Forum: .mobi Premium's For Sale

Hi folks,

After much thought, we've decided to create (http://mobility.mobi/forumdisplay.php?f=113) a For Sale section in the Marketplace specifically for Premium .mobi's to ensure all potential buyers are made aware of the special cases that are the Premiums.

That last thing we want is for unsuspecting buyers to purchase a domain which, unbeknownst to them, has contractual obligations and comes with a real risk of being forfeited with no refund, which would leave the buyers out of a lot of money.

In short, Premium .mobi's are special and deserve to be treated differently.

The re-selling or flipping of Premium .mobi's goes against their original spirit, but if it must be done, then please do it in this new section.

Andres, I would like to see the rules augmented, requiring the seller to post specific disclosures of the name such as:

-when it was purchased;
-when the development deadline is per the contract;
-a link to the Premium name end user agreement contract for people to review;
-if and when any notifications have been received from mTLD regarding the specific domain name;
-details on how to inform mTLD of the sale to a new owner.

This could be a serious buyer beware situation and clear disclosures are needed to protect the integrity of this marketplace.
