The scripts come with the database. :) No extra cost. mPals uses a database as do most of them but they are fairly straightforward to install. If you purchase a couple I will do the installs free of charge.

is there a cost for the database information as well? (hotels, schools) or should I assume that this is not available

the format from the script only..

(I don't know how to do anything backend or mysql anyways hehe, so is like the mpals just a front end server upload etc, php or something?)

I'll take an mPals.mobi if it comes with instructions too :) I know I have a control panel on my server and can create databases, but past that no idea about them either.
