confidentiality.mobi (big numbers for this word on Google 33 million)
cybering.mobi (I don't do this at all )
cyberporno.mobi (good adult name?)
mobular.mobi ( the new buzz word - cross between cellular/mobile)
naughtiness.mobi (another good adult name?)

I'm sorry, I've looked and looked, but.. I just don't get the 'gems' part?!? It seems to me better money spent, would be on an LLL that someone, and there is 'someone', will sell for $250 or so. J..M..O.., GL to you.

CG, I'm curious what makes these names good in your opinion? Just trying to understand if you wouldn't mind explaining.

heh.. i just started going through a list of approximately 15,000 domains in other extentions that someone has listed publicly on their website... changed all the extentions to mobi and ran the whois check a few weeks ago, now i just have to delete the ridiculous ones see whats left in the end (prolly 2 months later)...
BTW, this was why it was NOT a good idea to list your entire portfolio in the forums during/soon after landrush... you better believe i was copy and pasting EVERYONES into the whois and adding or subtracting an "S" from all the words..
but back to my point... i just started going through this huge list of 15,000 domains and one of the few up top happend to be CONFIDENTIALITY.MOBI... not that i think it is a great domain... i have just been saving everything that isnt like CarInsuranceHelpForYou.mobi....

yes, i was one that was lucky enough to be able to do that with the premium lists and get good results...
i went through the entire list and edited out the "s" or added one or made other popular versions of the words reserved.. it was unbelievable how well it worked even 2 weeks after landrush.

Congrat, for me when I try at May. None available. If you able to secure the premium .mobi with s or without as you mentioned
You will have the second best portfolio in the world second to mtld. :adore:

CG, I'm curious what makes these names good in your opinion? Just trying to understand if you wouldn't mind explaining.
Let's see $8.49/each for a single word domain i.e. confidentiality is a great investment. If I flipped it at later at $100.00 I'd say that it was a pretty good return. I like sinsational as it could be a great adult domain name. Look up sinsational.com and you will see what I mean. It could also be used for chocolate. Naughtiness - not as good as naughty, but seeing I got in on .mobi late I think it's not bad for the price. Cyberporno??? Maybe not the best adult name, but it does have potential for type-ins. Bobber is a popular biking term which I would lump in and sell with my other biker mobis I have.
Everyone here knows how much money any .com single word is and if they are passionate about .mobi then they would also think that any single .mobi word would also be. Face it .biz, .info, .us, etc aren't going anywhere, but .mobi is different than the rest and my gut feeling is that .mobi will also be right up there next to .com. Maybe the above aren't gems now, but maybe they will be later.
Anyways FWIW I think most of us have a few .mobis we regret buying.

You don't think confidentiality is a gem? Just type the word into Yahoo or Google. Try the same with sinsational or even naughtiness. I think they have huge potential, but that is my own honest opinion.

...bluenog.mobi
Hawkeye...yes, it was me    I wanted a job with them, and thought it was a good way to show my enthusiasm and interest. But it didn't work out :dontknow:...their loss!
But my man the Carolina Guy ! People are gonna LOVE and HATE what is regged...that's a fact. You just try to make the best decision possible for YOU...and live with the @$10 you just spent. Just 10 ! Nobody has a batting avg. of 1.000 here...trust me.
My blunders...bluenog.mobi, southasianpussy.mobi, southasiangirls.mobi, barrybonds.mobi...these are just the many  But I do think I scored on many, too.
Good Luck!

You don't think confidentiality is a gem? Just type the word into Yahoo or Google..Sorry no. Only 2451 ovt, no wordtracker, and open in many extensions. Other than Confidentiality Agreements, just don't see the usability for it. I have a list of single words to reg, but... why?? Just because it is a single word does not make it worth anything. Then again I don't buy names to resell for $100, though I'm not saying I'll get more than that for some of mine, I just don't look for names that will only bring that. I just regged SingleMothers.mobi, SingleDads.mobi, and MobileBuys.mobi last week to name a few, and though they're not single words, they are more mobile applicable than 'confidentiality'. And it will be a long time before 'just any subject' .mobi domains fall into the mainstream of internet surfing. Of course this is JMO, and we are all free to reg what we want, but when there are names still available that are more mobile internet applicable, I just don't see why people are regging names that aren't, just because they are single words. Not my money, just my opinion.
Nobody has a batting avg. of 1.000 here...trust me. I agree, never said differently, and have more than enough that will probably end up being klunkers. But one does at least know which are 'gems', and which are not. (I'd at least think.)

Thanks for sharing your thought process CG. Some things to watch out for if developing, sinsational has 2 TM's, Bobber has several and mobular has a few also. I'd suggest you consider searching for TM's at USPTO.gov, it may keep you out of some hot water you would rather not be in. When words stray from being generic and sound cool, you probably are not the first one to have thought of it and it may be in use already which can create problems for you down the road.
Of course pure generics can have TM's as well, Apple is a prime example. But what it comes down to is usage. If you owned Apple.mobi, parked it and had ads for computers or mp3 players you would be infringing on their TM, using their brand to promote competing products. If you had ads for red delicious apples then you would be fine.
Just encouraging you to be careful with your investments and avoid some pitfalls.

"open in many extensions" The last I checked confidentiality was taken in .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, & .info. As for the other country extensions I'm not concerned with them. At under 10 bucks I can't loose. For now I'm just going to concentrate on Geo names as that is where the most value is IMHO.
