I am working on my plans to develop some of my Mobis. I'd like to look into software so I can add GPS recognition into the equation as well as other advanced features like pay per call.

Does anyone have any information on this kind of software or programming and current costs?

Any information appreciated!

Let me see if I can sum this up for you.

In order to have GPS you would have to have some kind of GPS device in the phone and than simplely work off it.

Pay Per Call is usually a simple "Call this # and get Redirected to this #" you would need a simple phone system to do this (Talk to a supervisor at a local phone company, preferrably big one) Probably in the range of roughly $200 to setup.. For a simple system.

Or you can simplely email one of the many big Pay Pre Call and see about a partnership.

I am also investgating this and seeing how if I can get a few other programmers and make a software to do this (I could sell of course)

Thank you for the input Steve. I have heard that GPS will be mandatory in all cellphones soon so this is why I am curious as to software prices. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I can't find the specific article stating this.

That article should be able to help you. Read each section it will clearly say what you need.

If you want Directions.. There is a dude on here who posted an AD for a Java program that does directions for you.
