Complex URLs may soon be a thing of the past
Internet navigation specialist Qpyn is offering a quick and easy service to access websites on your mobile.
By reducing URL addresses into short ‘pyn’ codes, users can access Qpyn’s website (http://qpyn.mobi/ (http://qpyn.mobi/)) on your mobile, enter the pyn into the ‘Qnavigator’, before being taken to your desired website. Alternatively users can download a mobile widget platform, of which a range can be downloaded for free from the website meaning you won’t have to go online and open a browser before entering a pyn on your handset.
Mobile website content providers will be able to personalise their pyns to a specific 3 character code making it unique to their site. Qpyn hopes the service will make it even easier to surf the net via your mobile.
