Oversize Admob ads?

HI just noticed that Admob are placing some image ads that are 300 pixels wide, at least on a PC - too big for many phones - presumably they detect deivices and serve up ads accordingly?

This creates a style issue - if you have a site like why.mob that is set to a maximum width, the ad overrides that and sticks out on the right hand side.

anyone else seeing this happen?

also it seems beneath the ad they repeat the content in linked text - taking up more space.

I have seen it several times.

Hopefully it is auto formatting to correct size

yes..those ads are specifically for the iphone however there may be a detection issue. I have 4 different size banner ads and the 300 one is specically for the iphone. There probably is a phone detection issuewhich hope will be resolved soon.
