I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but....
I just tried to publish a new update on datinghelp and now have no site. I thought it was a simple permission, as usual. Changed it and nothing. My files are all empty in my cpanel. MSG sitebuilder gives an error when I try to publish.
Please help ASAP.
Thanks,
Mark

Please let me know you've seen this and are working on it. It seems I can't publish any updates from any sites. I tried another work in progress site and the file transfer failed on that (and left my files all empty in my cpanel)
Not good. Another mobi site down, simply because I want to improve it.

The error you have stated is simply the permission problem I always have (and have documented many times over to support...) I have changed permission and I can see the files are now correct and updated. MANY THANKS!
What has been causing this publishing issue? As reported, I had another site I was working on doing the same thing. It was there one minute. I made an update, republished, and my files were all empty with no site at all. This had nothing to do with permissions. I was able to download files and ftp them myself, but every time I used sitebuilder publish, they would be wiped out again. Sure hope this has been permanently fixed!
By the way....I just tried the other site I've been working on and it published right as well! Good news!
