yes it was a sedo auction that extended till 3:30 am here. i know people were abit worried about the time it ended but i think the seller made 4k on the deal. he paid 1700 for the name. and i think the buyer got a smoking deal :)

I'm really pleased that this sold for a meaningful sum... I feared it wouldn't get above $4,000

It's a far cry from $12,000 - $20,000 that it ought to fetch but the seller paid $1,700 for it in 2006 so at least it showed a good return..

Maybe I should head *** to SEDO? with a basketful of names? :laugh:

I'd say it was a solid price, in the current market - tho, I'm hoping it'll be a great investment down the track...And, I reckon its also good for confidence in the .mobi market that solid sales are seen to be happening.
