What it looks like is you can book the room via mobile but you pay when you get there. Since they are selling their own product they can do this, but an online agency would be at the mercy of the hotel desk to credit the guest to your account. It's a huge problem in the travel industry.

Ever booked a rental car through a travel agent and when you get to the rental car desk they offer you a free upgrade? When they do that they want to cancel your travel agent booking and give you a new booking number. Basically they are trying to steal the sales commission from the travel agent. If you ever are offered an upgrade at the desk of a rental car agency, hotel or flight, say yes but I need it still under my current reservation number. That burns them in their own game. They have to follow through on the upgrade and they pay a bigger commission to the travel agent.
