Hello All and Everybody.

I must be :shot: SHOT UP with Dx...but Im not. It's the syndrome. I got it bad. September26.mobi is coming up, and only 24 days away...so before dotMobi goes globally mainstream, and before Everybody starts buying them up like water...I had to buy what I felt was good and POWERFUL to support my dotmobiservices company.

So today, in addition to pekingduck.mobi, gawc.mobi, and blackspringbreak.mobi...I bought:

(1)xhtmlmobile.mobi
(2)xhtmlmp.mobi
(3)xhtml-mp.mobi
(4)xhtmlbasic.mobi
(5)xhtml-basic.mobi

OPINIONs please? Am I :mad2::stoned: ?

I'm not sure why you think the 1 year mark is so significant in terms of making registrations. It is of zero consequence to me.

As for these regs, the best bet IMO is to build content with details on how to code in those formats. They don't seem like good candidates for resale but I guess you never know.:dontknow:

But September 26, 2006...that date...was THE Beginning for All of this.

Mobility.mobi was bought up on Sept26.
The majority of "almost-premium" names, like Dubai.mobi, Ibiza.mobi, AtlanticCity.mobi, Tunica.mobi...they were all "bought" based on that date. Not Sept 25, nor 27, but Sept26.mobi.

Do U Remember not sleeping the night before Sept26?
Do most of U remember planning for that day? ...Remember that feeling that "If I get THAT domain.mobi, I'm gonna make something big". :biggrin:

September26.mobi, this was dotMobi's Birthday! Happy Birthday dotMobi! ...Do we not, as humans, love to celebrate birthdays! THE First day in the World. This was dotMobi's First Day in the World!!!

AND NO...I am not :mad2: :vollkommenauf::stoned: SHOT up or on the DX...Just having a good time while I try to go Big Time. Life is too short not to have fun with this.

I totally agree with the value of having a good time, and I appreciate the historical perspective of Sept 26, '06 in the life of .mobi. Not sure it will make any difference though to my bottom line. I couldn't tell you the first date when a .com could be regged, it may be interesting as a trivia tidbit but makes no difference to me today in terms of buying, selling or developing a .com domain.

I think the best way any of us can maximize the value in any of our domains is to develop them so if you have a vision for your domains then work towards it.
