..a ship of fools trying to make mTLD hurry awarding premium names like that.. its almost a permanent decision.i have to agree with this. I think that was part of the downfall of .eu. It was rift with fraud from the top to the bottom with bogus registrars and TM claims. Front companies were set up to reg premium words and LLL.eu by the thousands. Arrests have been made in Britain and 40,000 domains siezed.
Here in the US, 4 front companies were set up to portray themselves as registrars. Over 300,000 domains were illegally registered. Many of those names are in contention. I believe charges are pending.
So more than a year and a half after the fact, .eu is still a mess and I really do not think it will ever be a worthwhile venture.
I think if anything, following on the heels of .eu may have been a good thing as to how NOT to release names.

Both the mobi site and the .com site appear as the same on the helio. Hard to differentiate.
And both .mobi and .com appear the same on the PC.
How is this possible? Autodetection?
And both load surprisingly fast on the Helio.
But, the main point...
DAT GOOD NEWS!
