BridalShop.mobi (http://www.BridalShop.mobi)

It is a pretty simple site at the moment, (just bought the domain).... however I have plans to expand the site to include a wider selection of items.

BUT first I am going to focus on finding an end user for the domain. The current site should give them a good idea of what .mobi is meant for. :coo2l:

Comments appreciated.

I like it Egnited, I like how it turned out very clean and updated looking. And I see what you're saying about looking for an end user. And I agree 100%. This is one of those cases where unless you're going to do a business, might be wiser decision to sell the domain to an end user. There is a magazine called 'The Knot' http://www.theknot.com/?MsdVisit=1 I'd get the printed magazines from the store( & use it as a directory) and email or call many of the shops listed. Might be worth it to hold out for a great offer.
Good Luck!

Great domain... tons of potential... only comment I'd have (& this may be because I'm in the UK?) is that I wouldn't use the heading "apparel" - I'd give dresses a heading of their own... also "shoes" and maybe one "The Rings" with a separate "jewelry & accessories" then you could have "wedding list" (i.e. presents & the stores that operate a wedding list service) - in fact there's a complimentary site for you.. ;-)
Then there's your "Photographers" and "catering" maybe financing? - loans etc.. to pay for the whole shabang...
Maybe a cultural section......... different religions - give an overview of the basic aspects to the service & preparation for a Jewish service & an islamic one etc.. (do your thing for global unity ;-)
& maybe "venues" and maybe if you're brave "same sex / civil partnerships" plus "transport" (Rolls Royce hire / horse & carriage etc..) and bridesmaids / page boys and lists for weather reports etc.. (i.e. links those weather sites that give you the 'typical' weather in any place during any week - like if I wanted to know what the weather is usually like on september 9th in Dallas for example... - something quirky so that the press releases look good... i.e. "& the site even has a feature where you can (fill in your usp here).... so check it out.."

Gosh... I'm sexier than Pred some days!

(but I won't ask you for a ******* ;-)

Hi Javier... thanks for that.. I'd forgotten what it's like to get repped.. that bitch Pred keeps stealing mine

If anyone wants my 2 cents on anything drop me a line... I'm always glad to interfere...

I tried to pull a job for you last week, I got a reply too... but then the trail came to a close; I could brief you on it & you could make a pitch... the guy might realise that I wasn't talking "hot air" afterall! (seriously big potential too)

drop me a line - it could be up your street (& I could be the 'doctors' assistant)

Thank you for all the excellent ideas!!!

If I can't find an end user and end up building the site out fully, I will most certainly take these ideas into consideration. Lots of great input from both domainitrix and newdomainer --- both repped!
