I'm getting a message that mine can't be over 1,000 characters. Counting just letters and spaces, mine's closer to 100. Is the other junk I'm putting in (i.e., links to my developed mobis) taking up a lot of that 1,000 character maximum? Anyone else have a similar problem?
Thanks,
MM

MMHi MM,
I looked into this thoroughly and there is no setting for signatures that I could find, so I do not know where that 1,000 character limit is coming from unless it's a forum default that can't be changed.
Post the signature code you're trying to upload and I'll play around with it.

Thanks for looking into this, Andres. I'm not exactly sure how to post the code of my signature (as opposed to simply posting my signature)...but if this is any help, I previously had 7 mobis in my signature and they were all live links to the their respective mobi sites. I tried to add an 8th, and it told me I was over the limit. So I went back and removed the links (leaving just the text), and it allowed me to add the 8th. I guess the code that was necessary to link to my 7 mobis took up a bunch of signature space. Does that make sense? No big deal if you can't get an answer and/or fix it--I was hoping to eventually have all 50 of my developed mobis (by the end of 2007) in my signature but I'll certainly be able to get by if that is not possible!!.
Thanks,
MM

I'm not exactly sure how to post the code of my signature (as opposed to simply posting my signature)...Try going to your user CP (where you edit your signature) and sending me the code that you have in your signature. That should do it.

I don't find any code there--just what I have posted below. The edit signature part of Mobility is different from the edit signature part of NamePros--in NamePros I actually see the code. Here it is more like a WYSIWYG editor--I can't find anything that I would consider code.

a-HA!!! Now I have the code, but when I paste it into a reply, it converts back to the WYSIWYG format. I'll PM it to both of you--that should do it--thanks for your patience and help!!:embarassed::embarassed:
