View Full Version : Where are these hits coming from?

Islandlife.mobi already has 160 hits this month. Why the heck would it get hit like this out of the blue? I have 1600 hits on my portfolio with the next closest to islandlife being hotair.mobi with 41. Who can shed some light on the subject here?

Some of us are experiencing a similar phenomenon. Without server logs it is difficult if not impossible to know what is going on.

Thanks for the link. I guess I'm not alone on this one...it sure is weird.

Any clicks, or just hits?

My theory with undeveloped .mobi traffic is that some SEs are offering .mobi results when the search originates from a mobile device.

I can't back this up with any facts as I don't know which SEs might be doing it......just a hunch - but if you are getting clicks with the traffic, then it makes sense, no? If no clicks, then it must be spiders / bots.

It's the anti-mobi people trying to mess with our minds bwahahahaha
