European buyers are getting interested in dot mobi domain names. Look at the latest dot mobi names and they are usually priced in Euro (currency).

Doesn't mean that.
Means the U.S dollar is weaker than a 6 month old baby & listing in pounds puts people off sometimes.

Euro is a happy middleman.
Also lots of savvy euro investors.......selling in euros :coo2l:

Not just my .mobi, but ALL my domains are listed in either GBP or Euros for the better exchange and more bang for the buck cause the buck ain't banging nuttin lately. http://www.smileyarena.com/emoticons/Main/Creatures/hippo.gif This is for you, Pred.

My experience... At least on Sedo, has been that many people list in Euros whom are not European. My last 3 transactions have involved 1 in U.S. dollars and two in Euros. Important to note that none of the 3 sellers were of European origin.

I think it's a sly move to try and get higher bids. With how much the dollar has fallen, a careless domainer who lacks U.S. economic knowledge may end up placing a bid a bit larger than intended.
