Here are some BIG South African companies that have live .Mobi sites. Although Sasol is a re-direct it still shows they are using .mobi and possibly planning to develop into a .mobi compliant site.
Check them out.

Oh and then there's TATA the giant Indian car manufacturer and steel plant whose .mobi site is live but re-directs to their .com http://www.tata.mobi (http://www.tata.mobi/)

Very cool! Even I have heard of SASOL. I believe I heard a piece on NPR about them and their technology for their alternative energy sources and production.
