Boroughs.mobi - Version 1.1 :)

I updated the look of the site a little. New logo (thanks to the biffenator).

The site now features a local events search. Users can find concerts, festivals, etc, by using this feature. Local Events Search will let a user look up info on an event, the venue that the event will be held at, along with times, price (if any), and a description of the event. You can also look up info on the venue itself, along with a list of its upcoming events. You can even place a call to the venue just by clicking the phone icon.

Future plans for boroughs.mobi version 2.0 include a complete overhaul of the site (currently in PHP 5, will be completely rewritten in Ruby on Rails). I'm also looking into adding a few social networking features to it.

The site looks awesome on the Helio Ocean and the logo jumps out! Good job. Nice color selection. And no consultation fees?

It appears as Beta on the actual phone site.

But it looks good overall and seriously, the colors are brilliant and the logo is sharp and crisp. Good job, y'all.

Awsome! Very cool design. Seanboy and biff are very good with colors and presenation. It's an art and I wish I can learn to be as good.

I am going to NY this saturday to see my grandmother in Brooklyn and my aunt in Long Island. I will have fun looking things up when I am there :)

My son was just looking at webaps page on Apple.com from his new Christmas present - the Apple Ipod touch and he saw on the "recent webaps category" (the main page) a listing for boroughs.mobi.

This just shows that there will be a surge in mobile webpage access from the Ipod Touch popularity - not just from cellphones.

As has been said before, LOAD TIME is the advantage!!
