Triple A - aaa.mobi (american automobile association)

Wonderful that someone actually took a reserved name and made it into a .mobi site.

this is huge...I have been studying the Towing industry ever since I bought "Towing.org" <insert shameless plug here> AAA is a gigantic company and I would use aaa.mobi myself if I were on the road with trouble.

note...not a redirect...

note...not a redirect...I have used them (only once) but this is a gem of a name not going to waste.

Wonder how many investors, speculators, domainers, companies, and people wished they owned aaa.mobi

Damn nice to see this as an actual site and used for it's intent.

Oddly enough, the Whois info still says it's in the hands of the folks from China. I think AAA may have forgotten to change the contact info...:dontknow:

WOW! Excellent website! I will be very surprised if this site does NOT get promoted in their literature. I'll be keeping an eye out since I'm a member.

Edit: just noticed it is being featured in the mTLD showcase as well. This could be as huge as bofa.mobi!

How did you chance upon www.aaa.mobi (http://www.aaa.mobi) Doc? :dontknow:I was looking for some tips and pointers on RSS feeds for mobi sites. I wanted to try to incorporate them into a site and thought I would try to get one up with GoDaddy's free .mobi site tools.

I have no idea how this ended up in my searches and when I clicked on this, well...the rest is history. So aren't my shorts. :embarassed:

I think I may have spewed some coffee onto the screen.

I'm glad you guys over there can eventually use the AAA.mobi to get info, pay bills etc. Unfortunately my email to the RACV- Royal Automobile Club of Victoria did not take notice of my email, telling them of .mobi, & asking them to register their name as it was still available at the time. It no longer is!

It's great to see see names to their respective companies!
