I just got this lovely notice:

Good news!! In order to assist our customers with the ease of managing their domains, we will be setting .tv domains up on our auto renewal system. Since you currently have your account set up to auto renew your domains with us, we will be implementing the auto renewal of your .tv domains as well. This will take effect with your next renewal date of your .tv domains. Please let us know if you have any questions by contacting our Customer Care department.

Thank you,
Domain Registration Customer Care

Only problem is that I had DISABLED my auto renew...when I went to go check on a few of my names, sure enough they CHANGED IT BACK TO AUTO RENEW!

So, beware DOSTER as they are employing 1and1.com tactics...

I just did a print screen of each of my domain management screens that shows AUTO RENEW: YES despite my AUGUST 13, 2007 account status email to the contrary.

IN OTHER WORDS, DOTSTER IS CHANGING YOUR ACCOUNT TERMS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY!

I want to transfer out a few of them. Do you know who has the better deal on .tv transfers? I found GD to be at $29.99 retail, but can't find moniker pricing.

Has anyone contacted Dotster about this Auto re-new issue?

I sent them a "proof" response which included screen shots and previous emails. I think it's scandalous personally.
