Hi, I am new here so just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I am very interested to hear any feedback regarding a website I am involved in. The site is www.onetouchpurchasing.com (http://www.onetouchpurchasing.com) and it is a payment solution for digital downloads, allows people to make purchases without the need of a credit card, or even a PayPal account.
What do you guys think?

Welcome to mobility!
I think it's great for digital content to be paid content. Right now paypal mobile doesn't have anything like that in place for mobile downloads. Congratulations for finding a possible solution for this very neglected niche.
I have some questions before signing up for the service:
1. Can end users download pdf's to their phones? If not, do they get them via email?
2. What kind of safeguards are in place, both for sellers and buyers?
3. Please don't be offended but this is the question we are all going to want answered: Why should I trust your company and product?
I really am looking for a solution so if you have one I am very interested in the answers to these questions. Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for taking a while to respond.
Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Does the solution work with all carriers?
A:OneTouch is agnostic to the type of network technology, device, and software. OneTouch facilitates web payment for any device and from any device (PC or cell phone). We are in the process of signing up mobile operators to be OneTouch Billing Providers
2. Can users download pdf's to their phones?
A:The content that consumers get, the format that they get it in, and the devices that they consume it on are all issues that the merchants and consumers contract at the time of sale. For example, “download a game to your phone”, or “buy credits on our dating website”, or “download MP3s now”. Often downloads involve the merchant sending the consumer an email or SMS message with a link to the item purchased. The actual type of content, discovery, and delivery are not within the purview of OneTouch. OneTouch just facilitates the payment.
3. What kind of safeguards are in place both for the seller and for the consumer?
A:For sellers- they get a log ID for every transaction so they have proof of purchase, also they do not send the download until the federator had sent them a log, that the payment was authorized and unauthenticated. Customers who chose the OneTouch Online Purchasing option are agreeing to pay for their purchase through their existing trusted billing provider- whom they select. These customers will only be able to purchase if the trusted billing provider agrees to take on their charge. With OneTouch Online Purchasing as an impartial and objective third party, the seller will have significantly fewer leakage disputes. OneTouch Online Purchasing transactions are only considered completed after the download is verified as received. This means that merchants who use OneTouch Online Purchasing enjoy the added protection of a secure third party transaction log to prove their claim. This significantly lowers your exposure to disputed charges. For buyers- they do not need to put in any personal or sensitive information online, they are authorized and authenticated by their trusted biller which whom they already have an account with.
4. Why should you trust our company?
A:This is a new product from a small company and we are just now beginning to build our reference base and reputation, but A- You have nothing to lose- you can always remove it from your site at any time. B- Our financial partners are MACH S.a.r.l., Bankinter S.A. and other blue chip international companies. So, give it a try at no risk. If you like it, you keep it.

Thanks for the additional info. Just for reference, are these the two companies you've listed... bankinter.com and mach.com?
