Me and a friend were listening to BBC Radio 1 the other day and found out there's a new type of stylish food hitting the streets, combining Chinese and Indian food called 'Chindian' so I've regged the domain now lets see what happens!!!

Apparently there's lots of Chindian restaurants springing up all over the UK at the moment so I think it may be good as a Chindian restaurant directory??

Just in case i'd never heard until the other day on the radio what a Chindian was, but have any of you heard the term before??

in NYC, there are a few chinese-indian restaurants in the little India section. I never heard of this term, though it makes sense. I reg'd "asian fusion" a month ago i think mainly because i love the cuisine. google stunk and ovt less than 1000(?).

Just in case i'd never heard until the other day on the radio what a Chindian was, but have any of you heard the term before??I think you and your friend need to stay out of the pubs :tee: or cut back on the bong hits :smokin:.

Actually, I had never heard of it until now. Makes great sense and sounds likely to become very trendy. Not to mention that nearly every extension is now taken so I would term this a good snag!

I've been to a Tibetan restaurant once that seemed like it had Chinese food with an Indian flair. (Except the tea with butter in it - WOW was that rich and yummy).

The food was really, really good. I think I'm going to like this trend.

I haven't seen one of these restaurants yet but if i do i'm there dude!!!
