BlackBerry Emulator problem?

I'm having problems connecting to a web site via the BlackBerry emulator http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/downloads/simulators.jsp.

I must have something not setup right. Is anyone using this and did you have any problems like this?

pchip, you need to have the blackberry email and mds server running

it is also available from the bb developer downloads site
