Would be great if you can go ahead with the payment and we can conclude the transaction, since 48 hours have already passed away.

Friendly reminder to other perspective buyers: Please post sold only if the cash can be arranged in 24 hours from positing SOLD. Only exception is if it is a bulk sale and we both have agreed beforehand on the payment time frame.

Sorry Vik...but I think it's more appropriate to discuss these financial matters through PM or Email..

Well considering I wrote I would be out of touch and on travel in a pm when I first posted (still am and on blackberry) plus ididn't get a reply for almost 24 hours I think this is pretty uncalled for. add this to the hir.mobi fiasco on the other board in which the opposite happened I think ill stay off these forums for a bit. You can keep 457 snd I would suggest any sellers who have requirements like this and don't recognize everyone is not 24 7 on these forumns post their needs up front. While I mostly use the other forumn and have not made a purchase on this one I would point out my relatively high number of trader feedback there. I am shooting myself in the foot with this one given the financial asspects of 457 in the us but I am a bit frustrated with recent actions by some sellers. See the hir thread onother forumn if you care for more context

To me it's a gray area. People post names for sale in many instances because they want quick money. When I post sold on a name I usually expect the seller to be ready to accept payment ASAP. I in return make myself available to make payment ASAP. I do however understand that many folks have other interests besides hanging around the forums all day.

Good luck guys!

BTW, PM is the best and most professional way to work out the details
between buyers and sellers IMHO :)

Well considering I wrote I would be out of touch and on travel in a pm when I first posted (still am and on blackberry)

Your Original PM to me produced verbatim:

"I ll take 457 @450. I ll be offline for a bit but will send payment via paypal. I don't use this forumn much but I have a lot of trader feedback on namepros forum. THanks"

Which part of the message says you are on travel or that you would be offline for 3 days. Had that been communicated, I would have waited as I am not really running into bankruptcy for the $450.

plus ididn't get a reply for almost 24 hours I think this is pretty uncalled for.

You PMed me on Saturday night / Sunday morning 18th May 2008 at 2.31 am and I replied on the same day 18th May 2008 at 7.50 pm, not exactly 24 hours and considering it was a Sunday.

I think this is pretty uncalled for.

Posting sold and not paying in 3 days and it should still be pretty uncalled for, explain me, I am all ears.

add this to the hir.mobi fiasco on the other board in which the opposite happened I think ill stay off these forums for a bit.

How is my sale thread connected to that and why should I be bothered be something happening at the other place. Staying off the forums, well its your choice, I am not the one to comment on that.

I would certainly not like to sell to someone who doesnt like to keep a commitment or has the strength to stand up for his mistake. None of us are on the forums 24X7. At the same time I am sure none of us are non-responsive 3 days in a stretch after positing SOLD and without informing the seller that you are going to be off for a specific amount of time, clearly shown in your PM to me.
What happens or happened at the other forum is not my lookout as I did not post the sale thread there. The sale thread was made at Mobility and I should look into that only. Well as for the relatively high number of trader feedback rating I cant comment on that because I am not a party to that.
Your frustrations are because of your actions and not because of the Seller's and now you are trying to act the victim be claiming the travel card. Good luck to you.

People can be upfront about their situation and I would understand but being unresponsive without informing I have to be either you or be God to know what actually is happening.

This is not about the money, its about commitment, which you fail to understand.

Had I not been a MOD here I would have left you a Negative Rating, but since I am one and that the rating would be termed as abuse of power, to some of the members, I am not leaving you one.

What you fail to understand is that positing a public note about "failure to pay" is both insulting and unprofessional.
Now since you want to clear the air about the sale; first, how are you defining three days? I was actually online through most of Sunday but didnt hear back. You finally posted sundafternoon at which point I had left on travel. You then posted publicly less than 2 days after that.
As far as the other sale, I use it to highlight the problems that arise with the seller not being up front in his expectations. In that one seller did not wait for buyer response and resold. There is a general trend of sellers expecting complete responsiveness from buyers as if they are acting benevolently in selling a name.
Frankly the buyer in these situations is the customer and it is up to you, the seller, to facilitate a smooth transaction which certainly didnt happen here. Feel free to leave me negative feedback I could care less. I ll happily leave you a negative as well.

First it was "I left on travel", now it is "I left on sunday afternoon just before you posted", decided when did you travel if at all you travelled.
There is nothing to be upfront in expectations, its a default rule in ALL the forums to pay up in 24-48 hours after posting sold.
I am acting benevolently in selling a name and neither are you doing me a favour by buying it. You are buying it because you see valu in it, you are not doing charity by buying the name, so keep the grandiose act of buying the name to yourself.
You are a unprofessional buyer and thats he way things have been.
