OK, my first batch of geo mobis aren't complete just yet, but I think they're close enough to post here. Please check them out and let me know what you think:

Lots of info there Maven! Good research you've done. My main concern is the way the image and text intersect when the window is small. I haven't checked it on my phone yet though.

I agree. So many different sized mobile screens makes it difficult. I'm starting to think that the simpler, the better. If I try to do something fancy with graphics, it might very well backfire.

Nice sites - I really like the effect of the right side graphic and how it nestles in on the text on the varying screen widths. Especially nice in your Clearwater site presentation.
I guess a "safe" play would be to make sure that the sum of the left side text width and the right side graphic did not exceed about 125 pix so it would work on the smallest screens which seem to make up about 60% of the ones in use. (according to sample demo data from another thread Re: Webilizer - just a rough estimate - not a scientific full market sampling)

Thanks for the feedback! One more that just went live tonight--tortola.mobi (http://www.tortola.mobi). It's probably my favorite background picture. Can't wait to go down there and research it!!

Very nice. No worries recycling the background, if it fits why not?

Exactly. I'd rather get them developed and out in the public than try to make each one 100% unique--just takes too much time. Plus I can always go back later and change it. Next stop StCroix!!

Funny..I have a Canadian friend living in clearwater BC (http://ntvalley.com/clearwater/) ..the gate to the beautifull Wells Gray Provincial Park. But this seems to be another Clearwater...
I've been there on holiday. It's beautifull overthere..
Maybe you can make a splash screen where people can choose from both clearwaters...

Hi, all--thanks for the continued input. Scandi is correct, for some reason these are pointing to parking pages. No idea why but I hope to have it resolved shortly............ :dontknow::mad2::dontknow::mad2:

Thanks, Scandi. Sorry to all for the cheesy parking page. At least the girl was relatively easy on the eyes....anyway, comments/suggestions on bloomington.mobi are welcome!!
That makes 7 total, should have the 8th up and running early next week....stay tuned.....

Thanks, Martin. I had no idea that there was a Clearwater in BC. The Clearwater I built my site around is in Florida--near the Tampa Bay area. I would imagine that anything in BC is beautiful. I haven't spent much time up there, although my wife and I went skiing in Banff (just east of BC) for our 10th anniversary...absolutely amazing...I still think of it often and would love to get back up there. Great people and breathtaking scenery in that part of the world.
Have a great weekend,
MM
