Greetings everyone! My name is Chad Williams and I'm part of the .Mobi revolution!
I am a firm believer in the future of dot mobi. I currently own one of the world's largest and most valuable portfolio of .mobi domains. The future of the mobile internet is guaranteed. In fact, the mobile internet is alive and well in many parts of the world. Here in America, we are a little slow to change. In parts of Europe and Asia, the use of mobile phones to use the Internet is not only a way of life, but the only option in some parts of the world.
I think this forum has great potential to attract and develop the type of community that "dot mobi" needs right now... smart, intelligent, "I get it types" that understand the future is mobile. "Technology and Change" are two things that we cannot prevent. People are slow to change by nature, so it's understandable why there are so many people that think "dot mobi" won't succeed.
Dot Mobi is not only about the mobile internet... it's about a sense of clarity, of having one universal platform for mobile users to access the internet and websites that "without any second guessing" meet the acceptable standards for mobile websites. The mobile phones of today are simply very small but advanced computers that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Take the iPhone... Palm Smartphone, Blackberry, Treo and more... isn't awesome how you can have a nice wide screen to go surf the Internet and enjoy all your favorite websites right in the palm of your hand?
Perhaps, many of the same "doubters" also thought the Internet would fail and that it was all just a "big dumb idea!" I think you get the point, and if you don't... and you've made it this far into The Matrix (Mobility Forum)... then perhaps you've stumbled into the wrong forum.
Enough of the "down talk" it's time for positivity and support for those of us who invested into Mobi and the future of the world... Congratulations!!! You've made an "excellent" decision and one that will prove extremely profitable every day we move further ahead.
For businesses large and small, mom & pop, whatever your industry is on the internet... allow me to share a gift with you... a word of advice and caution... please pay close attention to what's going on here... failure to accept the enormous potential of the mobile internet may prove dangerous to your business and financial success, for the world is already mobile... technology continues to get better and ask yourself this simple question... "Is your business ready for the mobile internet?"
